Working professionally as an editor in a marketing and narrative context has taught me many lessons about pacing, story, and the power a well timed edit.
Below are examples of my editing work.
A short film created as a class project, exploring the use of virtual production and a projection wall to create environments.
A short informational video describing how AEM is used in Nebraska. This work belongs to Jesse Korus and Edgeworks, who hired me to create it.
As a student video intern with University Communications I assist on video shoots as a PA, and in post production as an assistant editor. On set, I do everything from setting up microphones and monitoring audio to running cameras. In post production, I assist in the editing process for multiple kinds of videos for various platforms. I also compile b-roll, soundbites, pick music, and give feedback on final edits.
